Target Tracker
As an Associate Adviser for Essex Advisory and Inspection Service I spend some of my time working with the Target Tracker
team running courses in Essex and beyond. I also go into schools offering tailor-made modules and support on Target Tracker products.
Target Tracker is a suite of applications which use Windows based software to easily record, track and chart pupil progress during their time in school. Target Tracker has been designed by school practitioners, working in partnership with Essex County Council Advisory and Inspection Service, for use in the classroom.
The entire suite includes:
- Foundation Stage Target Tracker - for setting targets and assessing children in the Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception)
- Pocket PC Target Tracker - links with Foundation Stage Target Tracker to allow easy, 'on-the-spot' assessment of Nursery and Reception children. Record evidence using automatically recognized handwriting, recorded voice comments or with photos from a built-in camera.
- Primary Target Tracker - for setting targets and assessing children in Key Stages 1 and 2
- School Self-Evaluation Toolkit - assess how your school is performing against OFSTED criteria, set priorities and targets for improvement, produce an action plan and automatically generate an S4 or SEF report for OFSTED. Available in primary and secondary versions
- SATs Analysis - question by question analysis of Key Stage 1 and 2 SATs, plus year 3, 4 and 5 non-statutory test so that you can identify areas of concern. Past papers as well as the current ones can be analysed
- In development - versions of Target Tracker for secondary and special schools
